Government's Role During the Great Depression
The federal Government became more involved in peoples lives during the Great Depression in hopes of bettering the lives of everyone. They took over jobs like federal aid and establishment jobs of the unemployed. The government gave the people a sense of security in the future and the government. They tried to influence people to start to spend money, but most people were too scared of the already poor economy.
