The Dust Bowl
The Dust Bowl caused major ecological and agricultural damage to American and Canadian prairie lands in the 1930s. The lack of rain caused the soil to dry up and blow away, this caused farmers crops to dry up. The Dust Bowl affected 100,000,000 acres across America. Millions of acres of land were ruined which forced people to abandon their land and move.
